The Reason Why Your Prospects Aren’t Buying From You
When I first read The Renegade Network Marketer I knew it was something special but just couldn’t quite grasp the importance of the message Ann Sieg was getting across.
As an internet network marketer I knew the power of the internet in attracting prospects in my business funnel whether it was MLM or affiliate marketing. Then I read the Renegade again and bingo! One of the most profound messages to come out of the book was identifying what a prospect really wants.
But don’t they want to join a great company and be able to use and market their fantastic products? That’s what I thought but when I understood what they really wanted I started to feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Why?
Well, Ann put it beautifully in this quote…”if you can combine the benefits of what you’re selling with what your prospects really want, then your products will grow wings and fly off the shelves – literally!”
Here’s where most network and internet marketers are getting it wrong. They are selling the company and the products. Sure, there’s nothing wrong with that but when someone comes into your prospect funnel do you really think they give a hoot about a company or it’s product?
No, in most cases, they are thinking of the benefits they will gain from the products. In other words, if you are selling cosmetic products then is it the product itself which will make the prospect buy? No, it’s what the product will do for them. For example, when a woman is searching for cosmetic products they are thinking about their appearance, their wrinkles and how to look more attractive.
If you are selling fishing equipment is it the equipment itself that a prospect is thinking about when they are shopping. No, it’s more than likely the extra fish they might catch, the recognition they will get from their fishing buddies and the compliments they’ll receive. In other words, a boost to their self esteem.
Can you see how powerful this is? The Renegade system is all about teaching attraction marketing principles and selling the benefits is part of this process. It’s about knowing which of the hot buttons to push and once you learn, you will become an unstoppable force in internet network marketing.
