It&#8217;s funny because when I re-read the article it seemed so simple and straightforward.</p>
<p>I then realized we tend to make things more complicated than they really are when in actual fact, once you understand the core principles and just apply them success will come. The article was titled <em>&#8220;<strong>The 10 Qualities Needed To Succeed In Internet Network Marketing&#8221;.</strong></em></p>
<p>One of the ten things it takes to succeed in internet network marketing that often gets taken for granted is the good ol&#8217; fashioned &#8220;one per centers.&#8221; It&#8217;s something my coach used to drill into me back in my high school football days because while I could play, I tended to be a little lazy and coasted a bit.</p>
<p>Yes, I know that&#8217;s hard to believe&#8230;me lazy &#8211; no way!<span id="more-341"></span></p>
<p><strong>10 Top Internet Network Marketing Success Tips</strong></p>
<p>Anyway, that article &#8220;touched a cord&#8221; and reminded me it&#8217;s important to keep the simple success stuff close and handy and review them on occasions. Since I wrote the article, my online business has grown nicely and I&#8217;m proud of what I&#8217;ve achieved but things seem to have become complicated. It&#8217;s just great to be able to go back and see &#8220;what made things tick.&#8221; Here are the 10 things I wrote in 2007 that you need to do to succeed in internet network marketing:</p>
<p><strong>#1</strong>&#8230;Do the &#8220;1 per centers&#8221; and do them often. It means doing that extra bit and while you and others may not recognize what you&#8217;ve done in the moment and results won&#8217;t appear instantly,  do them often enough and  they will come and in droves.</p>
<p><strong>#2</strong>&#8230; The special internet network marketer understands the concept of cause and effect. Whatever positive action they take today will resonate later down the track.</p>
<p><strong>#3</strong>&#8230; They don&#8217;t rest on their laurels. That is, they know if they don&#8217;t work their business then no one else will despite claims that an upline can build your business for you.</p>
<p><strong>#4</strong>&#8230; The special inter-network marketer doesn&#8217;t hang around for instructions from their upline. They act without being told to act and &#8220;shoot first and ask questions later.&#8221;</p>
<p><strong>#5</strong>&#8230; They welcome failure. Failure to an MLMer on a mission towards their end goal is just another sign that they&#8217;re on the right track.</p>
<p><strong>#6</strong>&#8230; The special internet MLMer surrounds themselves with those who have already blazed the path to success before them. In other words, they are constantly on the lookout for ways and ideas to stretch their own boundaries.</p>
<p><strong>#7</strong>&#8230; They both love and hate the idea of climbing out of their comfort zones. The feeling of discomfort they feel when they push themselves into unknown territory is tempered by the fact that they know the current action will have extremely positive consequences for their business later on.</p>

<p>And this means one thing &#8211; there will never really be a need to use that sales pitch. Once the barriers of trust are taken down, the chances your prospect seeing you as the person to help them achieve what they want becomes just a formality.</p>

<p>In a nutshell, it&#8217;s the art of getting a prospect from suspect to joining your business but without you hitting them with a sales pitch. Sounds like an interesting concept doesn&#8217;t it, especially in the world of internet network marketing where sales pitches are part and parcel of the prospect process. Well, here&#8217;s something that may have never crossed your mind &#8211; it doesn&#8217;t need to be.</p>
<p>Yes, let me repeat it&#8230;the sales pitch doesn&#8217;t need to be part of the process of prospecting. One of my all time favorite sayings was delivered not long ago by author of The Renegade Network Marketer Ann Sieg and it related to pre-selling:</p>
<p><em><strong>&#8220;The frame in which someone views a message has more of an impact on their decision than the message itself.&#8221; </strong></em><span id="more-15"></span></p>
<p>Think about that for a moment and let me explain what it means. What do most MLMers do when they have a prospect. They continually bombard them with how great their company and products are or &#8220;if you don&#8217;t join now you&#8217;ll be sorry.&#8221; Let me ask you&#8230;would you be turned on to join someone like this in business?</p>
<p>Now let&#8217;s take the pre-sell angle. A person comes into your internet network marketing funnel and you immediately send them some information. But it&#8217;s not just any old information such as a standard welcome but you give them a report of some kind which can help them in their home business endeavors. It may be a report on article marketing or a collection of tips they can utilize. But make sure they can use them.</p>
<p>You then follow up with more information dripping them training and educational tidbits. You send them an email and ask them if they are using the information and if they want to know more about the material you&#8217;re sending them. Offer one-on-one coaching to help them with their business. Notice I said their business. Up until now you haven&#8217;t even mentioned your business opportunity.</p>
<p>Can you see what&#8217;s happening here? You are building a powerful relationship with someone you&#8217;ve never met. This person is still with you because they are starting to view you as someone important in their business building future. You are selling yourself and not the company or products. Once this happens magic begins to happen.</p>
<p>The truth is, it&#8217;s you someone will join in business not the company. It&#8217;s worth reading The Renegade Network Marketer&#8217;s message on pre-selling again:</p>
