Making Money Off Blogs – You Can Forget Keyword Research
Do you really need to spend a lot of time doing keyword research? Making money off blogs comes down to providing your readers the content they are looking for and when they find it on your site, the barriers that exist between them and you suddenly melt away.
You see, the problem for many blog owners hoping to make money with blogs is they simply spend too much time looking for that keyword in the rough that will attract a zillion readers and put them on easy street.
The truth is, it’s not natural. Keyword stuffing will get you penalized and the fact is, when you are branding yourself in internet network marketing, you could almost dispense with keyword research.
What you say!
I’m dead serious. When you write an article around a keyword it will read almost robotic. Too structured. It’s unnatural and readers will pick up on it. There’s no personality in it. That’s what will make your blog sticky with people. Your personality.
Think about this for a minute. The internet is where people go to find solutions. They don’t go to their favorite search engine and type in for example MLM when they are wondering how to build a successful MLM business.
What do you think they would type in?
Exactly, “how to build a successful MLM business”. It’s the how to which shows they have intent to get their problem solved and if you offer content based more around the how to than a single keyword you are going to get them to find you. And better still, because they are in an intent frame of mind, it’s you they are more than likely going to follow up with and re-visit your blog over and over again.
Here’s a better way to come up with content for your blog. Instead of typing in a one or two word keyword, simply type in questions followed by your keyword. So you would type in questions mlm or mlm questions. You will be presented with a ton of results and many of them will be asked by people genuinely looking for help.
You should also go to the forums in your niche and spend a little time on them looking at what type of questions people are asking. Create a swipe file and do some research and then post them on your blog.
Also visit Ask and Yahoo Answers. The more questions you can find that people are asking in your niche the more content you are going to have for your blog. Think service first instead of money and when you give service first, the question of how to make money off blogging will be answered in due course. Trust me.
