<p>Here&#8217;s an example&#8230;you&#8217;ve just joned a network marketing business and your told to convince prospects that the company&#8217;s pay plan is the best or the company&#8217;s products are far superior to others and this is very noble but do you know that prospects really couldn&#8217;t care less about those things.</p>
<p>Well, let&#8217;s re-phrase for a moment&#8230;yes, those things are important but they are not as important as you in the whole scheme of things. <span id="more-346"></span>Ask yourself this question&#8230;when you were looking for a business was there much difference to the way they were being presented. In other words, was their one oportun ity on the home business landscape that stood out for the reasons mentioned above?</p>
<p>Probably not. And that&#8217;s because everybody promoting has a hot business opportunity and a way for you to make money.</p>
<p>You see&#8230;</p>
<p>- nothing is more important to a prospect who wants to succeed at network marketing online than knowing that there will be someone to guide them through the learning curve and &#8220;show them the ropes.&#8221;</p>

<p>This hit home again in my business during the week when a new prospect called me and was shocked that I actually answered the phone. He didn&#8217;t want to take up too much of my time rather, he wanted to know that if he had a question, he could either call or email someone with it and expect to get an answer within a day.</p>

<p>The word &#8220;no&#8221; is the reason why many networkers eventually quit their business. People hate hearing it and when they do, it turns them inside out and pushes them further into their shell. The problem is, most go for the home run first up and with enthusiastic anticipation especially after coming off a presentation.</p>
<p>They have a list and begin contacting them knowing that they have the greatest opportunity in the world and there is no way their prospect will ever say no to it. <p><strong>Marketing System</strong></p>
<p>One of the biggest mistakes we see people make is spreading themselves thin. You see it in everyday life and yes, I&#8217;ve been guilty of it too. That is, trying to be a &#8220;jack of all trades.&#8221; Trying to be all things to all people.</p>
<p>The truth is, the human psyche is not really designed to be able to focus on several things at one time and what this causes things like paralysis analysis. It puts you in a place where you&#8217;re wasting time on unimportant tasks and letting the important tasks go unattended.</p>
<p>As an internet network marketer, concentrate on one or two areas of marketing. Either be the article marketer, the blogging person, the web 2 expert but avoid trying to be seen as the expert in all facets of marketing.</p>
<p><strong>Your Message</strong></p>
<p>Very important. Your message says a lot about you. If you are screaming in your marketing messages &#8220;sales pitch, sales pitch&#8221; then it may be time to re-think your strategy. If this is you then guess what&#8230;you are screaming the same message as 95% of internet network marketers.</p>
<p>Try to give value in your content. Forget the sales pitch for now. Give as much useful information away and watch the attraction process kick into gear.</p>
<p><strong>Consistency</strong></p>
<p>Another biggie! Be consistent in what you do everyday. Try and do something on a daily basis that will move your business forward no matter how small it may be.</p>
<p>Those who succeed work on the principle of cause and effect. What they do today may not pay off the next day but it will pay off eventually. Can you imagine the kind of leverage and momentum you can get going when all the little things you do start paying off.</p>
<p>It will be like facing a 50 foot torrent coming at you when it finally breaks it&#8217;s banks. Be consistent. Don&#8217;t do something today and then wait a month. This won&#8217;t get you results. The attraction marketing formula is a pretty simple one when broken down into chunks.</p>

<p>Does this mean it lacks quality? Believe that at your own risk. Ann sent me a copy of the book in physical form recently and after reading it my first question was how much will this cost and will you make it affordable enough for network marketers to afford it.</p>
<p>I was thinking after I read it that we would be looking at somewhere around the $100 mark. Do you think I was floored when she announced that it was going to be made available for free. You heard right&#8230;free.<span id="more-154"></span></p>
<p>Ann felt the new <a title="Attraction Marketing Manifesto" href="http://www.squidoo.com/attractionmarketermanifesto" target="_blank">Attraction Marketing Manifesto</a> needed to be written simply because she felt there were some missing pieces to the attraction marketing blueprint she outlaid in The Renegade Network Marketer.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s something this author dismissed as just theory for far too long yet when I saw the light, things started to change for the better &#8211; and it was dramatic. It&#8217;s easy to get caught up in the hype of new methods and coaching programs seemingly appearing every week online but don&#8217;t lose sight of the fact that old selling principles still apply today.<span id="more-74"></span></p>
<p>In a sense, while times have changed over the last 100 years it&#8217;s still the same motel, different room number.</p>
